HOW FAR ARE YOU FROM THE CITY CENTRE?

We are in the center, in the district of Montesanto, 5 minutes walking from Via Toledo and Piazza Dante.

IS BREAKFAST INCLUDED? WHERE CAN I HAVE BREAKFAST?

Currently, we do not offer breakfast to our guests nor serve food. However, at Hopestel, you are welcome to use our shared kitchen to prepare your own meals. You can also enjoy a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, cappuccinos, fruit juices,... available at our bar. Just a short walk away, you'll find several bars where you can enjoy a typical Neapolitan breakfast.

WHAT ARE YOUR FRONT OFFICE HOURS? IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK-IN AT ANYTIME?

Our Front Office is open 24/7, if you need any information you can call us at the number +39 08119917595, also via Whatsapp. Check-in is from 2pm. If you arrive before 2pm and the room is not ready yet you can leave your bags in our storage and enjoy our common areas. Il check-in è a partire dalle ore 14.00. Nel caso in cui arriviate prima di tale orario e la camera non è ancora pronta è possibile lasciare i bagagli nel nostro deposito e godere delle nostre aree comuni.

CAN I BRING A PET WITH ME DURING MY STAY?

Of course! Pets are welcome in our hostel if you stay in a Private Room. There will be an extra charge of 5€/day for extra cleaning costs.

I WOULD LIKE TO STAY WITH MY NEWBORN BABY. DO YOU HAVE A CRIB?

Of course, we have a crib available on request for those staying in private rooms. we kindly ask to inform us in advance and There will be an extra charge of 5€/day, linen included.

I DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD. CAN I BOOK A ROOM ANYWAY?

Of course! For reservations not guaranteed with credit card, we require a 30% of the amount to secure your stay as a deposit via transfer, Paypal or cash. Balance is due to 7 days prior your arrival.

I BOOKED A BED IN THE DORMITORY, CAN I HAVE A TOP/BOTTOM BED?

The allocation of beds depends on availability and our calendar, but if you send us an email we will take note of your request and we will try to accommodate you.

CAN I STAY THERE EVEN IF I'M UNDERAGE?

Children over 16 years of age can stay in the hostel in private or shared rooms without being accompanied by an adult, but we need a written permission from one of the parents or legal guardian. The authorization must be shown at check-in with a copy of the ID/passport of one of the parents or legal guardian. Alcoholic beverages will not be served during your stay.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY STAY?

We accept all credit cards except for American Express. It’s also possible to pay cash or by paypal.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE AN invoice in the name of my company?

Of course! Just ask us and provide your details before your payment.

I leave Naples in the afternoon, can I keep the room until I leave?

Unfortunately, late check-out is not available. However, you are welcome to leave your luggage in our storage room for as long as you need and enjoy our garden and common areas in the meantime..

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOOK A SPECIFIC ROOM?

We cannot guarantee you the room you want as it depends on the timing at the time of your stay, but we will certainly do our best to accommodate your request!

I noticed that my account was debited when the agreement was that I will pay when I get there. Will I be able to get this money back? Will you hold it temporarily?

I CONFIRM THAT PAYMENT WILL BE MADE DIRECTLY AT THE HOsTEL. WE HAVE ONLY MADE A PRE-AUTHORISATION ON YOUR CARD TO GUARANTEE YOUR RESERVATION. THE AMOUNT HAS ONLY BEEN TEMPORARILY FROZEN AND WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE PROPERTY YOU CAN DECIDE WHETHER TO PAY WITH THE SAME CARD OR WITH ANOTHER PAYMENT METHOD AND THIS PRE-AUTHORISATION WILL AUTOMATICALLY EXPIRE.

DURING YOUR STAY

How much is a taxi to the airport/central station?

he taxi to the airport is €25. The taxi to the Central Station is €15.

Do you have indoor parking?

No, but there are two garage very close to our hostel, 2/3 minutes walking that we recommend:
- Garage Quadrifoglio in Via Gesù e Maria 18
- Autorimessa Giuseppe Mazzini in Vico Montemiletto 3 prices go from 30€ to 40€ per night, depending on the size of the car.

I leave Naples after check-out time, can I stay in the garden and/or leave my luggage with you?

Of course, you can leave you luggage in our storage for as long as you wish and enjoy our common areas. You will also have a bathroom and a shower at your disposal.

Do you offer a laundry service?

No, but there are two self-service laundries within a 5/10-minute walk of Hopestel:
- express wash - via Tarsia, 22: arrive at Montesanto by taking the Ventaglieri Park lift or going down Salita Tarsia and then turn left onto via Tarsia. The laundry is on the right, opposite the police station.
- Express Wash - via Salvator Rosa, 7: Exiting the building turn left onto vico Cappuccinelle and left again onto via Gesù e Maria. At the crossroads, turn right onto via Salvator Rosa and go straight on to number 7.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS IN THE DORMITORY? DO YOU PROVIDE PADLOCKS?

Yes, we have small lockers inside the dorm where you can keep your belongings. We provide locks for 3€ 🙂

is smoking allowed? 

Smoking is not allowed inside the room, but it’s allowed in the outdoor areas using the appropriate ashtrays.

Is the linen changed every day?

We are available for room cleaning and linen changes on a daily basis. However, to help us respect the environment, we kindly ask you to request them only when necessary. Please inform us by 10 AM.

do you have internet connection?

Of course! Our WiFi is free and it works all over the property.

is there a safe in the room?

No, but if you need to keep valuables, we can keep them safe for you.

How do I get to Hopestel from airport/station/port/by car?

From the airport:
Take the Alibus shuttle to central station (check this link for info and timetable: https://www.anm.it/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1314) , then metro to Dante (line 1) or metro to Montesanto (line 2) and then walk to Vico Cappuccinelle 13 or take the Ventaglieri Park lift that takes you a few meters from our building (the lift is free and open from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9.30pm)

From Napoli Central Station:
Take the metro to Dante (line 1) or metro to Montesanto (line 2) and then walk to Vico Cappuccinelle 13 or take the Ventaglieri Park lift that takes you a few meters from our building (the lift is free and open from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9.30pm).

From the port:
- Molo Beverello
You can get there on foot in about 25 minutes passing through Piazza Municipio and Via Toledo. Before Piazza Dante turn left on Via Tarsia and continue until Vico Cappuccinelle on foot or taking the Park Ventaglieri lift that takes you a few meters from our building (the lift is free and open from Monday to Saturday from 7.00 to 21.30)
Alternatively you can take the metro line 1 from Municipio to Dante.
- Calata Porta di Massa
You can reach on foot in about 30 minutes passing through Piazza Bovio and turning into via Cardinale Guglielmo Sanfelice and then continue through via Monteoliveto and via Sant'Anna dei Lombardi until you get to via Toledo. Before Piazza Dante, turn left on Via Tarsia and continue until Vico Cappuccinelle - on foot or taking the Park Ventaglieri lift that takes you a few meters from our building (the lift is free and open from Monday to Saturday from 7.00 to 21.30)
Alternatively you can take the metro line 1 from Università to Dante.
- Porto di Mergellina
Take the Metro line 2 from Naples Mergellina to Montesanto then continue on foot to Vico Cappuccinelle 13 or take the elevator of the Park Ventaglieri that takes you a few meters from our building (the lift is free and open from Monday to Saturday from 7.00 to 21.30)
- Porto di pozzuoli
Take the Metro line 2 from Pozzuoli Solfatara to Montesanto then walk to Vico Cappuccinelle 13 or take the Parco Ventaglieri lift that takes you a few meters from our building (the lift is free and is open from Monday to Saturday from 7.00 to 21.30).
By car:
The nearest bypass exit is "Arenella", 2 km away from Hopestel. We are located at the beginning of a limited traffic zone (cars not allowed from 9:00 to 18:00, every day). If you want to leave your car in a secure car park, we recommend the following options a 2-3 minute walk from Hopestel:
- Garage Giuseppe Mazzini in Vico Montemiletto, 3: small cars € 25 per day; large cars € 30 per day.
- Garage Quadrifoglio in via Gesù e Maria, 18: small cars € 20 per day; large cars € 30 per day.
